“Oberża pod Czerwonym Wieprzem” is a restaurant situated on the corner between ul. Chłodna and ul. Żelazna in the Wola district in Warsaw, on the ground floor of a pavilion of a “Lipsk” type, in the place of the quick-service bar “Magda” from the era of the socialism. You should pay attention to the menu with a neat apocryphal legend about a Warsaw inn operating there since the Saxon times, which was the favorite restaurant of left-wing revolutionists at the beginning of the previous century. The tavern with a spacious interior plays old hits, and the kitchen prepares delicious, substantial meals. It serves dishes characteristic of the era gone by: liver sausage with a pickled cucumber for appetizer (“waiting snack”); other appetizers include: a Tatar beefsteak from under the counter, Party board of excellent cheese or Kremlin salmon steak tartare with fresh cucumber and garden dill with sour cream.
